We aimed to brighten up the Coleman’s kitchen with new cabinetry and add some glossy texture to an understated area. A modern look with a minimal palette was the key.

After
A well-placed mirror in your kitchen design such as a mirrored splashback is a sneaky design trick to double your kitchen size and help light bounce around the room. The mirrored splashback makes the Coleman’s kitchen appear much larger and brightens up the area. Moving the oven and adding space for the microwave underneath the bench top created more workspace for food prep. Bringing the cabinetry all the way to the ceiling creates extra storage and a beautiful, seamless finish to this kitchen transformation.

The Brief
Our client wanted to achieve a look which hinted towards French Provincial with an element of Hamptons styling for a more timeless classic.

After
White kitchens are a classic investment to your home and an ageless style suiting most interior spaces while creating a spacious cooking environment. The black granite splashbacks combined with black mirastar was a brave decision, which ultimately proved to be the crowning statement of this beautiful kitchen. The extension of the cabinetry to the ceiling allows for additional storage space and the black and white colours add a luxurious finish.

Michelle’s kitchen was in much need of a brighter and spacious layout, opening up to the surrounding living area. An open plan kitchen will give the illusion of more space with increased natural lighting.
