Storage Tip 1

Opt for full-extension kitchen drawers or pull-outs are the best choices. You are able to see the full contents of the drawers as opposed to crouching down and peering into the dark recesses of old-fashioned drawers and kitchen cabinets.

Storage Tip 2

If you have a corner space, consider installing a corner kitchen cabinet and install a spinning carousels or wire racks for easier access plus there are a number of new exciting pullout systems available to make better use of the dreaded wasted corner cabinets.

Storage Tip 3

Kitchen items should be stored in the kitchen work zones in which they will be used or grouped together with like items.

Storage Tip 4

The airspace above the kitchen island (which in itself creates lots of storage if you add cupboards and drawers!) is often overlooked and unutilized. Install free hanging shelving rack from the ceiling to store hang pots and pans, cooking utensils for easy access is a popular method to create more storage. Be mindful to adjust height of the rack so it won’t interfere while you work in the kitchen.

Storage Tip 5

Kitchen pantries can be located at the perimeter of the kitchen design and have slim shelves and cabinets which can store things easier. A wide shallow pantry is often a better solution than a narrow deep one as this allows you better access to the contents of the pantry.
