Spectacular and Impressive Kitchen Cobbity
We pushed boundaries with some of our ideas. Scott and the Harrington Kitchens team worked with our interior designer to deliver exactly what we wanted for the cabinetry throughout our home. We couldn’t be happier.
Our kitchen is definitely a winner with the whole family being able to work together. It’s an area we love to use when entertaining family and friends.
Joe and Karen, Cobbity (October 2023)
Our client’s new build on a rural block had to ensure that the home was as spectacular as the views!
Using sustainable and resilient Navurban, a cost-effective timber alternative, our client’s choices of the dark, moody Ashgrove and the deep, warmth of Boxwood have created truly impressive living areas.
The two-toned kitchen with soaring ceilings, uses these striking finishes with a choice of porcelain benchtops – Dekton Sirius for the sink area and the white and grey vein of Atlas Plan Statuario Supremo Silk for both the island and splashback. 60mm mitred edges were used and 80mm mitred edges on the island which grounds the kitchen perfectly to the grey concrete look-alike tiled flooring.
Incorporated into the cabinetry our clients chose Wolf appliances for their oven, cooktop and warming drawer. A Qasair rangehood and Miele semi-integrated dishwasher accompany a Sub Zero fridge. The dark Franke sink is highlighted beautifully with the copper tones of the Brodware Yokato Gooseneck mixer tap.
Glass cabinets are used to break up the solid timber panelling and the modern, contemporary strip pendant glows as it hangs above the island.
Throughout the residence the use of Navurban is prominent, in the bedroom wardrobes, wall hung vanities and alfresco BBQ area.
The TV Unit utilises black metal mesh doors to create interest and floating shelves allow for decorating. Smartstone Ibrido in Grafite Grigio is the perfect muted choice for the benchtop.
Quantum Quartz Concrete Matt and Dekton Sirius have been used on the wall hung vanities for that modern, clean, contemporary look throughout the bathrooms.
Our clients chose Dekton Laurent for the alfresco BBQ area with its dark brown background and warm gold veining which criss-crosses the surface, to create a sense of elegance and style in this entertaining area.
Dulux Mt Aspiring in a flat polyurethane finish has been used on the wardrobes in the guest bedrooms to create a light, airy feel.
This spectacular residence is one that we are very proud to be a part of and one that will continue to impress for many years to come.
