Thank goodness spring is here, bringing with it lots of colour and some much needed sunshine.
The start of spring also means that it is time for the next edition of the Harrington Kitchens eNewsletter.
Unfortunately, we continue to see tough economic times for most Australian families. Let’s hope the beautiful spring flowers give us all that little lift in spirits we so deserve.
Thanks to an amazing team effort by all the staff at Harrington Kitchens, and of course the support of our valued clients, we are grateful that we have managed to navigate the economic downturn without too much hardship. We are hopeful that the situation in the wider community will start to improve in the coming weeks and months.
Changing Trends
In our previous updates, the big trend we saw in the kitchens that we were working on was the use of colours – especially greens and blues. We are now, however, having more and more people wanting to use natural-looking timber finishes. The timber look is being used on everything from kitchen doors, to backs of islands and even feature walls. Adding the look and feel of timber to any kitchen is made so much easier with high quality products such as Navurban that closely replicate natural timber but are much easier to install and maintain. Although natural timber features do bring something very special to a space.
Another huge design shift is happening with benchtops. We are seeing many more clients choosing stunning natural stone finishes in marble and granite. It seems all things natural is very much the order of the day as we design our homes to feel ever-more inviting and relaxing.
Meet the Team
You may, or may not, know this but all our kitchens are proudly built locally, here in our Narellan factory. In this edition of the Harrington Kitchens newsletter, we are excited to introduce you to Robert Thurston. Robert is one of our amazing cabinetmakers and is part of the great team that may one day assemble your new dream kitchen.
Narellan Showroom
Our Narellan showroom upgrade is finally complete!
We would love you to come in and see the latest in kitchen design and finishes, as well as see the new range of “0% Silica” stone bench tops.
We have worked very closely with our great friends at Hettich Australia and the team at the Hafele Design Centre, to have the latest door and drawer hardware on display. You can also see a great range of kitchen and laundry accessories.
Extended Hours at Narellan
Now that the renovation is complete, we are excited to announce that from this Saturday 7th September 2024, the Narellan showroom will now be open every Saturday, from 9am to 1pm.
This is the first time we have opened on Saturdays since the restrictions of Covid were in place. We’d love for you to come in and have a coffee with us at our new Narellan showroom. We can’t wait to see you!
Our Bowral showroom will still be open on Saturdays by appointment only.
